Maintaining your new eider down duvet

To ensure your lovely eiderdown duvet retains its fullness and amazing insulating properties, we recommend following these tips: If you need to dry clean your duvet, your professional dry cleaner should follow the instructions below.

It is preferable to use a dry cleaner who is experienced in cleaning eiderdown duvets.

Maintenance:

• Only use professional and gentle wet cleaning without enzyme-based detergents
• Shake the duvet gently every day and don’t add a bedspread until the duvet has lost the night’s moisture
• Do not vacuum or beat the duvet
• The duvet benefits from being aired out regularly in shade and dry weather
• Plump up the duvet by refreshing it in the tumble dryer for approx. 30 minutes without heat. (min. capacity 14 kg)

Professional cleaning of your eiderdown duvet:
Use a professional dry cleaner who has experience of cleaning eiderdown duvets and can perform a gentle wet clean.

• Maximum water temperature of 29 degrees Celsius
• Low spin speed
• Tumble dry at a maximum of 50 degrees Celsius
• Maximum residual moisture of 0% after tumble drying

Storage:
Please store your duvet in the supplied packaging to protect it from dust and insects. Do not vacuum-pack the duvet as this can affect the down’s structure.
